Teacher’s day is celebrated every year on September 5th to remember Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan-Second President of India. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teacher’s day. The Program commenced with a Prayer song. Teachers were welcomed with a Special Dedication song. Students gave valuable speeches on the role of teachers in shaping the society. Students expressed their gratitude and respect towards their teachers on that day. They presented various cultural activities like speech, dance and songs to express their feelings. The programme was concluded with a formal vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
